Day 3 - Cleanse Day 1

A friend of mine was telling me how she did a Shakeology cleanse when she started a healthy lifestyle as a way to try and flush out her body.  Amanda said that it really helped her to feel better and she felt it gave her a cleaner start.  I decided that I would do a version of this my understanding is you take in LOT's of water, a Shakeology shake for each meal and a healthy salad with a white protein for dinner.  

I've decided to use my Ultimate ProFit by It Works! Global in Creamy Vanilla and also in Rich Chocolate along with using two scoops of my Greens in Berry Flavor and Orange Flavor.  

Question:  Is it protein powder chalky?

Answer:  No!  I cannot stomach things that are chalky.  I guess I'm a bit of a snob and will just forget it before I force myself to drink it.  I've used it with almond and coconut milk and did not find it chalky at all.

What I really like about this product is that it is non-hormonal and non-GMO whey and soy protein product.  

I'm adding the Greens to add some extra nutrients to my cleanse.  It Works! Global Greens contain 8+ servings of fruits and vegetables and a blend of 38 herbs and nutrient-rich superfoods.  The Greens help alkalize your body which basically just means it shifts the ph level in your body will shift and become more balanced so that it isn't a breeding space for disease.    


Breakfast: Green Tea, Protein Smoothie with Greens in berry flavor, water

Lunch: Protein Smoothie with Greens in orange flavor, water

Dinner:  Grilled Chicken, salad with balsamic vinaigrette, water
