Cleanse Day 2 and 3:
The friend that told me about the cleanse did tell me that I would most likely have a bad headache and to be prepared to sleep as much as possible. Well a bad headache would have been welcomed. I woke up with a massive migraine and could not even function. I eventually was able to fall back to sleep late Saturday morning and took a 5 hour nap. I felt remarkably better when I woke up until I got out of bed and was about to take a shower. I made it to my bedroom door with thoughts of a shower and my migraine came back instantly in full force. I was in bed until Monday morning when I had to get ready for work. Strangely enough I felt great. Needless to say I didn't exactly do the 3 days of the cleanse that I expected and planned. Actually what I did was a fast because all I did was sleep all weekend praying my migraine would go away.
In hindsight I should have realized that being susceptible to migraines may make the decision of a cleanse stupid. Luckily though that is in the past for me now so I don't need to worry about it.
Day 6 of Journey:
Today at work I had a Well Check. It's basically a physical of sorts done to see if you can get a discount on your health insurance premiums because you are deemed "healthy". We'll see when I get the results if anything has improved since I had a similar thing done with my personal trainer a few weeks back.
Tonight I relax and work on some writing and thoughts for The Purple Dash and use one of my crazy wrap things on my stomach. I'll be documenting before and after photos to post online in the future.
