Journey Day 6-12: Improving all areas

A week has gone by since my last posting.  With a goal of improving my quality of life there are so many areas that I need to work on.  This last week I went to the dentist and with an 8 year dental absence I was not surprised to hear that I will have to go back a couple times.  Luckily, I finally have dental insurance again so that will help with the financial side of my appointments.

I have been keeping up with my protein shakes for breakfast.  It’s a nice, easy and fast breakfast for days I work.  This week I introduced food back into my life after the cleanse/fast that I did last weekend.     Each morning I am enjoying a green protein shake with my It Works! Greens and Ultimate ProFit Creamy Vanilla with water.  It’s a delicious easy breakfast that takes no time so I arrive to work on time!

What is so great about the It Works Greens?

Each serving of greens (2 scoops or 1 on the go packet) contains 8+ servings of fruit and vegetables and a blend of 38 herbs and superfoods.  Greens helps detoxify, alkalize and promote pH balance within the body.  Sounds good, and technical so here is what I know.  I used to suffer from severe acid reflux.  At least one or two times a week I would wake up in the middle of the night gasping for breath and in pain from some kind of acid reflux attack.  Since I began taking the greens every day I can happily tell you that I have not woken up with an attack!  I’m confident when I go in for a checkup in March that my cholesterol and glucose numbers will also improve due to my healthier lifestyle.

Goals for the week:

  1. Workout 3 times a week at least 45 minutes each time
  2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water each day
